Why I created this space
Every day in clinic, I see the gap.
There's medical information: clinical, accurate, but often overwhelming and hard to apply to real life. There are patient forums: supportive, but sometimes spreading misinformation or increasing anxiety.
What's missing is the bridge: medically accurate information delivered with genuine empathy from someone who's been both the patient and the practitioner.
That's what this space aims to be.
What you'll find here
Not just "what is a pessary?" but what it actually feels like to have one fitted, and what questions to ask.
Not just clinical definitions, but practical strategies for managing symptoms day-to-day.
Not just surgical facts, but honest discussions about recovery and what to really expect.
This is for you if you're newly diagnosed and trying to understand what it means for your life, living with prolapse, incontinence, or bladder issues and looking for better management strategies, or considering treatment options and want to know what to expect.
A note on medical advice
This content is for education and support, not medical advice.
My goal is to give you the knowledge to advocate for yourself and make informed decisions alongside your healthcare team.
Always consult your doctor or nurse about your specific situation.
Welcome. Let's navigate this together.
